Beach Camping

About two weeks ago, Morgan and I went canoeing out to a nearby island to camp. We made the mistake of going way too early in the day, and spent most of our first day in the tent hiding from the sun haha. We did go on a sunset stroll that evening, and at night we had the whole island to ourselves (which we took full advantage of)!

The next day we spent looking for sea glass while we waited for the tide to rise so we could leave. If I have learned anything, it is to check the tides! I had planned for us to leave at noon, which as it turned out, was the exacting timing of low tide. We ended up just dragging the boat most of the way anyways. It was loads of fun, and I’d love to do again with more people.
